About CyberMyth

CyberMyth is a dual-artist project by Caterina Marotta and Francesco Filippelli, conceived as an immersive journey through myth, society, and inner transformation.

The exhibition is structured as a contemporary labyrinth: a guided pathway where the viewer moves from the external world into the inner one.

The journey begins with Marotta’s digital reinterpretations of Greek myths, which translate archetypes such as Midas, Pandora, Narcissus, Atlas and Prometheus into visual metaphors for today’s society.

Through her work, the visitor encounters questions of identity, disconnection, technology, desire and the forces that shape our modern world.

The path then shifts into Filippelli’s introspective realm.

His paintings, created with his patented Alchemical Temporama technique, undergo visible transformations over a seven-minute cycle, changing and returning to their original state.

These living images reflect the fluidity of the human soul and the continuous movement between self-awareness, memory and perception.

Together, Marotta and Filippelli create a narrative in which understanding society is the first step toward returning to the self.

CyberMyth becomes a symbolic passage: from the myths that inform our present to the metamorphosis that defines our inner life.

The first edition of CyberMyth was presented at Indra Gallery, London, from 14–17 November 2025, and marks the foundation of a project intended to evolve through future iterations and new exhibition formats.
